The best way to stay abreast of green events in the Sault/Algoma is to follow us on social media (@cleannorthsault) or email us at info@cleannorth.org and ask to get on our e-newsletter distribution list. We send out only 1-2 emails/month and do not share our distribution lists with other organizations. You may un-subscribe at any time. You can also visit our blog regularly (access at cleannorth.org) as we always post info about our events there.

Clean North monthly business meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm except in summer. All are welcome to attend these meetings. If you’d like to attend a monthly meeting, email us at info@cleannorth.org.

Other events we hold/participate in:

  • Christmas tree collection/chipping
  • Seedy Saturday Sault/Seedy Saturday Algoma
  • Earth Day
  • Sustain Algoma Expo
  • Mulch giveaways
  • Litter cleanups
  • Ad hoc events held by groups like school boards, Indigenous Friendship Centre, Downtown Association, etc.

Other organizations that hold green events in the Sault/Algoma include Sault Climate Hub, Sault Naturalists, the Invasive Species Centre, The Kensington Conservancy, the Lake Superior Watershed Conservancy, and the Algoma Highlands Conservancy, among others. Follow them on social media or become a member to stay informed of their events.

If you know of a green event happening in the Sault/Algoma, feel free to send us details at info@cleannorth.org, and we will happily publicize it.

Want to learn more about us but are not sure you want to attend a meeting? Email us at info@cleannorth.org.
