Lake Superior Alliance to hold information session at Clean North Office November 7

Bob Olsgard writes: "The Lake Superior Alliance will be holding an information and strategy session at Clean North's office on Thursday Evening November 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM." Details below.

This special evening meeting will focus the attention of local citizens, activists, Tribal and First Nation members, government officials and agency representatives on current issues affecting Lake Superior. The meeting will feature presentations on water exports and diversions, proposed power plants and other toxic impacts and shore land development.

This is one of a series of Lake Superior Alliance meetings held throughout the watershed to involve more of Lake Superior’s residents in our work toward a healthier future for the Lake.

The Lake Superior Alliance is an international organization of environmental groups and individuals working to protect and restore of the water, air and landscape of the Lake Superior region.
